I just wanted to say (late though it is) that I was thinking of your and your surgery today. I hope all went well, that you recover quickly and that it's all smooth sailing from here!
Re: *Mo*
Thanks lady,
It was a mess in there. I had one of the worst cases he'd seen.I had almost no uterine cavity due to the amount of scar tissue that had fused with the walls of my uterus. Right now I'm laid up until my birthday (thursday) with a balloon catheter in my uterus, holding the walls apart. This does mean though that we will have to do our frozen cycle much sooner than we had planned (think August or September). I'm going to put a lengthier update in my blog later.
There's nothing scarier than when a doctor says "that's one of the worst cases I've seen". Was he optimistic about your prognosis?
More importantly - do you have happy drugs?

He's very confident that we'll be able to have a successful FET and successful pregnancy, it's just going to be very high risk. Meaning lots of bed rest, lots of appointments, and honestly as long as I get a healthy baby that I get to bring home at the end, I don't care what it takes. The hard decision for me is that we have to do it as soon as i'm healed for the best chance of success. So that means I wont be teaching much this school year at all.
I have a whole bunch of drugs, but it's just annoying to have this bag strapped to my thigh that's attached to the balloon in my ute.
The idea that you have a balloon up your ute sort of makes me giggle.
Here's to a speedy (well, as speedy as you're ready for) recovery.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
