Dry Shampoo

I feel like I've asked this question before but I'll just ask it again. Has anyone used dry shampoo? Did you like it? What brand?

Re: Dry Shampoo

  • When I was a training for Fitness, I would use it after my lunch time workouts so that I didn't have to go back to the office with completely disgusting hair (I only had time to shower, no time to dry my hair!)

It worked okay... but I probably wouldn't use it other than for something like post-workout hair. Having said that, my sister has the new Tresseme (sp?) dry shampoo and thinks it's amazing.

  • I second the Tresseme dry shampoo.  I saw it recommended on one of the blogs I follow.  I mainly use it when I shower at night and then have to re-style in the morning.  Spritz on the roots and then heat protectant on the ends for my flat iron.
  • thanks girls! nice that you both have the same rec! I have never been able to wash my hair everyday because it gets so dry but lately the roots have been a little oily so I was looking fir something for the off day.

Jealous! I absolutely MUST wash my hair every day or else the roots get way oily. Wouldn't suck so bad if I could just get myself to go with a shorter style - I hate drying my hair for 20 minutes.

My sister had me to try her Shampoo, too. It's by Aussie and it's called Dual Personalities or something close to that. It's specifically for hair that has drier ends and oily roots - I loved it! Haven't been able to find it anywhere down here other than Target.
