What would you pair with Tiger Lilies along house?

I am going to plant tiger lily along 1 side of my house but I need a complimenting perennial that is hardy (MN home) and robust and on the larger side (windows are far from ground) but not so huge that they'll take over the house (I really wanted to do a snowball bush but its just too unruly without massive maint.).

I would also like something that is colorful with bountiful folliage.

Thoughts?

Thank you!

I think the Tiger lilies alone will be enough. My neighbor has a row of them along the side of her house, and they totally fill the little strip they're in. At one end, there are some Phlox mixed in, and it looks more messy than good.
