Can anyone recommend a vet in the Madison area? Thank you!

We go to the Animal Hospital of Sun Prairie.  Depending on where your at in Madison it wouldn't be to far for you to drive.  I love Gregg Stephan, the owner.  Otherwise the uw vet is good but pricey.

We used to go to Cats Here, Dogs There and liked it.  Then they branched off to Odyssey.  We had a reasonably bad experience at Odyssey, so we are just starting with Fitchburg Animal Hospital later this week. all of our interactions with them for the kennel have been good so far!  you can page me if you want more details on Odyssey.

I go to Janssen Clinic for Animals on the far west side on High Point road. They've been great about getting us in, and seem to be keen on preventative medicine. There is an emergency clinic next door and often the doctors/assistants working at the clinic also work at the emergency vet. I liked that about the place.

I am probably biased, since I work at a veterinary clinic, but I recommend Truesdell Animal Care.  It is on the east side.  The doctors are amazing and I must say, that everyone is really nice, I love working there!

 

We have gotten many clients that have not been happy with some of the above mentioned hospitals.  HTH
