Well, it's official!

gotcha, no I'm not pregnant.  :)

I'm officially off and running as a Slumber Parties consultant!  I'm so freaking excited about this, I can't believe I hesitated as much as I did.  There are so many fantastic women on my team, and this will seriously expedite the process of saving up for my own real catering business (and hopefully quitting my other job).

Which also means I forgive all of you that didn't order anything for my party a few weeks ago, because now you get to order from me, ha! :)

My website should be up and running in the next week or so, until then I have lots of free samples to give out!

shoot me an email if you want a sample of our best-selling Coochy cream - guarenteed no red bumps or ingrown hairs.  Perfect for swimsuit season around the corner!!  lindsay.cowee at gmail dot com.  Include your mailing address please, and let me know if you want a catalogue too :)

thanks ladies!

  • I won't lie, I totally thought this was a pregnancy post!

Slumber Party consultant is pretty exciting too :-) I spend a ton of money on shaving creams that promise no bumps, I'd love to try the Coochy Cream (am I juvenile because I giggled both times I read this?).

hee, not at all!  I still giggle a little at the name.  I tell Scott he needs to start using it when he shaves (his face) - then he can tell people he's got coochy on his face :P

  • Ooh I think I could use some Coochy Cream.  Trying to shave my bikini line blindly these days has left things a little bumpy. :(

  • Oooh, MB turned me on to Coochy Cream last year!  That stuff is awesome!  I like the Pearberry scent.

I'd totally order some, but I already have like 2 unopened ginormous bottles in addition to the still half-full ginormous bottle in my shower.  But everybody else should totally buy some, that stuff rocks!

  • Very exciting!  I'm a huge fan of the coochy cream.  I think my stash is almost used up (I also buy like 2 bottle at a time) so let me know when your site is up so I can replenish.

Ladies, it is a fantastic product!

  • I didn't think this was a pregnancy post.  TBH, I thought it was a paid blog or other cooking-related post.  That would be awesome if you could start your own catering company.  You could always do some fee-for-service on the side if you missed the counseling field.  DH and I have thought of doing that.  We also have considered opening a breakfast/lunch place.

Anyway, hope this business venture goes well for you!

thanks Mel!  In the event that I'd actually be able to quit my job, I'd probably resume some contract DV work.  Since state approved DV providers are hard to come by, they have a list of people willing to fill in and sub when people are out.  I'd probably get on that list so I'd still have some clinical contact, at least for a while.
