So I probably wrote this several times and then never posted it but I think everyday about how I should tell you all. I was trying to find a great way of explaining, but my creativity level is low apparently. So I am just going to come right out and say it.
We are expecting baby #2!! Due December 13th. This was a total and complete surprise being that we were planning on trying later in the year, but then AF went MIA for awhile (which isn't totally unusual because I have always been irregular sometimes going 3 months without AF). So we took a test and had a very faint second line so I decided to just go to the dr. So I went and yep! It was positive.
I have a dr. appt on Thursday this week for my 12 week appt. Yes 12 weeks, it was hard to keep it secret so long, but I am just afraid someone will find out that I dont want to find out yet. I have NOT told any of our family yet so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING ON FACEBOOK!!! I know I have my sister who is going to say really crappy things since we don't have a house, so this is why I don't want anything on facebook. I just don't feel like dealing with her until I am ready. Thanks girls!
On a side note, I took a day off to enjoy on my own. No husband, no Dylan, just me. Which is needed badly!!
Re: I have a secret I've been keeping
Congrats!!!
Congratulations!! H&H 9 months (well more like 6 or so now
).
Enjoy your day off!
Oh my god oh my god! Congratulations! Very happy for you. Everything will get worked out and you will have a precious new baby!
How have you been feeling?
yea!!!!!
(and wtf to your sister, you don't need a house to have a family!)
OMG YAY!! I have a due date buddy!! (well, almost)
Congrats!!!!
WHOA! Exciting!! congrats on baby #2.
and FWIW-who cares about not having a house and having kids. As long as your children are loved, a roof over their head and something to eat, then to me that is a home...whether it is a 1 bdr apartment or a spacious 1 acre lot!
So well said Amy!
Yay!! Congrats!!
When you wrote "secret" this was my guess
I am so happy and excited for you. I hope that you have a H&H rest of your pregnancy! I also hope you have been feeling well!
To your sister: a house is not a prerequisite to a family, so she'll just have to deal with her misconceptions and I hope be happy and excited for you!
I have been feeling pretty good. I definitely get nauseous this time. With Dylan I never did. But other than that everything has been good. I just can't wait to hear the heartbeat because it still doesn't seem real. I had a ultrasound for dating purposes, and we saw the heartbeat but baby was still too small to hear it. So hopefully Thursday.
Yea, my sister is just a *** so I ignore her. She thinks that we shouldn't be living with my MIL, but I don't understand why she is so picky about it. If I am fine with it until we find a house we can afford, then why is she so uptight about it? Needless to say she is my least favorite sister.
Blog
Kara- It's funny. I always seem to have a due date buddy! Yay for being close to due dates!!
thank you Amy! And all of you who feel this way. As I mentioned above, my sister absolutely hates that I live with my MIL, but to me I just don't understand what the problem is. She won't even come over here to see me or Dylan. I don't care though because she is such a negative person. I feel that RC and I are doing the smart thing and making sure we can afford something before we rush into it and then think...uh oh...we can't make this payment. My sister thinks that we don't have bills because we don't have a house so she doesn't see why we can't afford a house. Meanwhile, I have school loans, car payments, medical bills ( I have crappy insurance) and credit card bills (which are almost paid off, yay!!). I just try not to deal with her that much. Thank you all for all of your support though. It truly makes my heart happy!!
Well your sister sucks. You are doing what is best for YOUR family.
So are you going to find out what you are having?? Squeel!!
I was NOT expecting this announcement...but CONGRATS!!!!!! I'm so happy for you
CRAFTY ME

Thanks girls! I know I could always count on you for support!
Amy- yes we are going to find out what we are having. I already have instinct that it is a girl, and only because I feel nauseous with this one and my MIL says she was the same way when she had her daughter so I guess we shall see. Of course I am happy with boy or girl though!
Congratulations! Such exciting news!!!!!!
