Best and worst of your weekend!
Best - Keeping BF's nephew turned out great, he was an angel the whole time. BF and I were shocked. If having a baby could be that easy we would want like 5 of them, LOL.
Worst - feeling tired, and the heat didn't help. I also had a terrible allergy attack saturday night that required breathing treatments, steroids, and lots of benadryl. I now have no skin left on my nose.

best: having DH for 3 days was nice, and spending sunday at our friend's pool was great
worst: got a little too pink on my chest from the pool...it doesn't hurt, but i think it might fade kinda splotchy...lol

best - hanging out with my h all weekend! such a nice change to no really have any set plans
worst - both of us not feeling great - i think it's allergies, just hoping it's not a sinus infection!!
Best: Photographing the US Professional Cycling National Championships yesterday, spending time with DH Friday night.
Worst: My horrible bike race on Sunday, getting sunburned despite shade and lots of sunscreen while doing photos yesterday

My Nest Bio and Cycling Advice
Best - Going to the Ren Fest yesterday with some friends who had never been. It was hot as He11, but I only have one little burn spot on my neck.
Worst - Having a headache off-and-on all weekend (and for the last several days). I'll be stopping by the chiro after work for an adjustment.
best - 4 days of being able to sleep in was so very nice. Pool on Sat/Sun/Mon. The pool party on Sunday was much fun. Mani/Pedi with mom on Friday. She looks pretty good, she just needs to start working out now.
worst - SFIL went into the hospital on Thur afternoon - he now has 2 new stents. He's back home already. THEN on Sat morning my grandmother went in too! She was having trouble breathing. Turns out she stopped taking meds on purpose last week b/c the side effects were hindering her schedule... yeah. Not a good idea. There's a reason the pharmacists say do not start or stop taking meds unless your doctor tells you!
so, we're tan. Just not very relaxed.

Best - Wallpaper Wars: The Dining Room, Round 1 is over. It took ~6 hrs, but it's all gone! Even DH admits it went better than he anticipated. In the end I was right - no drywall had to be replaced, or even close to it. If anybody needs to take down wallpaper, I highly recommend M1 enzymatic solution from Home Depot.
Worst - Trying to figure out what color to paint has been hell. DH has shot down all the prior ideas I had. With the open floor plan, it's more like planning the future of the rest of house instead of just the 2.5 walls of the DR. I need to post pics to D&R, but I haven't downloaded and processed the pics off my SD card yet.
this is why our entire upstairs (DR, kitchen, stairs leading into the downstairs den, stairs leading upstairs to the bedrooms and the landing at the top) are all the same color...because it's all basically one big wall.

Best - Lots of time with DH and AJ. Pool time on Saturday, hanging out on friends boat on Sunday.
Worst - had a friend and his 2 kids over for dinner last night and it turned into a huge production. Didn't get to finish making more baby food for AJ, for being so little this kids east a TON!
I hear ya. The LR, kitchen, and DR/entry way are all open to each other, basically in an "L" shape with the LR in the middle. Off of the LR/DR/entry way is the master BR, so you can see into it too. The stairs leading upstairs are off of the kitchen, at the corner of the LR. I'm not a fan of the floor plan, but DH already owned the house before we were even dating, so it's a package deal. It does have it's pros and cons.
The majority of it is white right now and the LR will likely stay that way for a while because of the high ceiling. The kitchen has more hideous wallpaper that will come down eventually too, but really it needs new floors and a new countertop, stove, and hood/microwave (and wiring for said microwave). I may just do the walls and call it good for the time being.
I just need to win the lottery.
DH likes to shoot down a lot of my decorating ideas too, but that's becuase he can't imagine the final product. I need to find pictures online or in a magazine that are similar to my idea so he can get a good idea. Also, several paint websites have the option to upload your own pic and put their paint colors on the walls. Maybe you could try that, so he can get a better picture of what your ideas are.
Best: Poker at DH's friends house. It was just good to get out of the house and hang out with people (read: adults) and have a drink or two.
Worst: DD slipped in the tub on Friday night and chipped her two front teeth. I am still in knots about the whole thing. Hopefully getting her to the dentist this week or next to get them checked out to make sure everything is okay.
oh nooooooooooooooes! That's awful. Poor Baby A.

Worst: missing a spot on my back for sunscreen, wearing a lacy back t-shirt and I now look like I have grill marks on my back.
