I'm so jealous. KC is one of my favorite cities. I miss working there. Are you going to the KS side or the MO side??
I figured you wouldn't still be checking the other post...
We're probably going to a little bit of both. My friend lives in MO, but works in KS, so I'm guessing she'll show us all around. Are there any cool things you think we should see while we're there? I keep meaning to look stuff up online but get distracted. All we know for sure is that we will be going out for bbq at least a couple times.

The downtown area of KC on the MO side is called The Plaza. There are a ton of great restaurants and stores and some great bars. One of my favorite bars is Tom Foolery's. I know you're pregnant, but Tom Foolery's has some great bands that play and it's smoke free. If you do a search for The Plaza on google there is an interactive map of the whole downtown area.
A little on the outskirts is another district called Zona Rosa. It's another food/shopping district with some bars and such.
There are a few casinos too and I believe there is an art museum downtown as well. There is also the WWI memorial/museum which is supposed to be super cool.
