Hello- newbie here
Hi Everyone!
Thought I would say Hi. I am new, and trying to figure out the ins and outs of this site. I married my best friend on 10-10-10, and livin in Norcal. H is planning on joining military soon (bittersweet.) I was on site a few months ago and asked a question on a different board and totally got attacked. 
I thought I would be okay here since I was married in october LOL!

What branch of the military is your DH planning to join?

I was married in Tahoe on the beach. Very pretty but it was at 7 in the morning! Freezzzing. Very small and simple. It was smooth transition since me and H were already living together, going on 5 years together now (typical highschool sweethearts) lol. H is VERY interested in AD AF. He plans on entering Nov 1st of this year. Oh and atm we are living in Sacramento area towards the Sierra's. Hoping to travel when he enters military, and H would like to live in Alaska. I am very scared of Alaska since i am the typical cal love the sun type of girl.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermWelcome! we don't bite here (usually). The heated debates are occasional but even when they happen we keep it pretty mature and unpetty. And if someone specific keeps pissing you off you can always make use of the block button down there V
I think most of us frequent other boards too but it's always smart to lurk on the other boards a while to get a feeling of their "culture" before you post.

Welcome aboard! I married my highschool sweetheart also! But on 10.16.10, our 11-yr dating anniversary:O)
I agree with the other girls on two things: 1. We're picture wh0res and would love see some of you from your wedding 2. Each board kind of has it's own style/culture, so often it's best to just lurk and eventually chime in once you get a feel for it.

Welcome to the board! 10-10ers are some of the coolest and nicest ladies on TN.
My brother was AF and one of my best friends is currently in the AF. My Dad, other brother, and DH (reserves) were Marines, and SIL National Guard. There are a lot of advantages and disadvantages to the military so be sure to weigh them carefully before you decide. After what happened to my brother in the AF I would never join, but others have had more positive experiences.
