Where is Helen going to preschool?  The boys are going to Puddle Jumpers in North Berwick and she said she is flexible with potty-training/not potty trained... because that was one of the first things we asked.  I am not sure how potty training is going to go this summer, but I didn't want that to preclude the boys from preschool and she said since she used to run a day care, the kids being potty trained or not isn't an issue for her.

Just a thought, in case Helen continues to struggle.  She does a class for 2 1/2- 3 year olds Tuesday and Thursday and is at the end of Morrills Mill Rd in North Berwick... which hooks up to Twombley Rd in Sanford.

Re: MainelyFoolish

  • Helen is signed up to go to Bear Hugs in Lyman starting in the fall.

The teacher there is ok if the kids aren't 100% potty trained but right now Helen is like 10% potty trained.  (I'm giving her the 10% because if I make her sit on the potty and her bladder isn't empty, she is capable of peeing on the potty.)

I'm really hoping that we'll be able to get to "mostly" potty trained by the end of the summer. I think Helen is old enough now where I'm going to push potty training since she hasn't shown any indication of wanting to do it on her own.
