Rhode Island Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
I know not everyone is down with this idea, but a number of you have contacted me or commented on how you would be much more active on a private board... I set up a Google groups board:
http://groups.google.com/group/rhode-island-nesties I have the option to email everyone individually, but honestly I don't have it in me to look up a hundred email addresses and type them all in. I also tried to send a group email on fb, but couldn't figure that out either. So... I think if you click this link and "ask permission", I can grant you membership. Do me a favor and post your screen name too... Worth a shot, right? I for one, miss you guys! As a non-native Rhode Islander with a very small number of friends, you guys are all I've got!
Re: created a board
I just sent one and put my screen name in the comments section.
Looks like you already accepted it.. nevermind.
I hope this type of thing works out and keeps the crazies away.
I applied. I know I'm not on here much anymore, but it's partially due to the privacy, partially because I'm totally boring with nothing to say!
i applied (i think it went from my joint gmail but i put cheeky)
thanks amy! i think a private board is a very good idea given the crap that has gone down lately.
How do I do it with out using my gmail account? My school email account is run through gmail even though it's a public school. Weird I know.....I log into my school account via gmail using my full email address...
Anyway, I do not want to join a group with my work address.
Pam, this might help answer your question:
