Tool box help

Hey ladies!

My hubby's first Father's Day falls the same weekend as his birthday (and will continue to do so every year... joy) so I have to get on the ball with presents.  I know he needs a tool box (his tools are literally sitting in a paper bag in our closet... can we say safety hazard?).  I need a simple tool box to store them in and we don't need any tools.  Do you ladies have any brand recommendations?

As for his birthday, I'm pre-ordering the new Duke Nukem xbox game that he hasn't shut up about for months.  It comes out three days before his birthday so I told him not to buy himself ANYTHING this month, lol.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Tool box help

  • How about checking out Sears? They have lots of choices there. I don't really know the types to get though, sorry.

This!  My hubby loves Sears and Craftsman! I am sure you could find something there

  • dh has two boxes - one is smaller and holds a few more common items and is easy for him to grab and go - the other holds a lot more. i have no idea what the brands are.

but, he tends to take out of the boxes and toss his tools in one of those 5 gallon buckets and brings that to the space he's working in. so i got him this bucket sleeve thing at home depot - goes over the bucket and has pockets and such to hold tools on the outside. he likes it!

  • I can check in the garage when I get home and tell you what kind DH has. I know that he asked for that specific one from his parents for Christmas and they bought it from Sears.

DH has a box from Sears that wasn't too expensive.  Sorry I don't know anything else about it but I can check the brand when I get home!
