Yes, we are planning on going.
I will admit, I have some reservations about going to be completely honest.
I'm a little worried that we will talk about TK/TN stuff the whole time, and the guys are going to be sitting there like "sooo...yeah..." I really think we should try our best to talk about "offline/real life" stuff.
Should we make a list of topics to talk about? :-p I can't remember what movie I saw that in...if I did it would probably be a lot funnier!
I think it will be fine though if we all agree to not talk about TK/TN.

I have mixed feelings about it, too. What did you guys talk about at Sarah's wedding?
I don't have anythign to talk about TK related because I haven't been over there at all... so I can rule that out at least.
Ummmm...well DH and Lacey's DH talked a little bit about Triathalons, because I guess Lacey's DH is interested in trying to get into those, and my DH does them. We talked about our weddings, I talked to Angela a little bit about being a nurse (her FI wasn't there), and to be completely honest there were a lot of awkward silences. Not gonna lie.
And I agree, I have nothing TK related to talk about, but every G2G I've been to, it always comes up. Inevitably.
And that is the LAST thing my DH wants to talk about, is wedding crap. I can tell you that right now.

I'm not attached to the idea or anything.
I think we should see who responds to this thread, and after that take another vote.
I would be interested in getting Lacey's opinion also, and Jaymi's. Since they were both there with their DH's at Sarah's wedding with me.
...but that's what I did a few weeks ago. I took a poll on whether or not we wanted to do this and a lot of ladies responded, or else I would have never gave it another thought.
That's why we went ahead and scheduled one.
ETA: Per the original thread, Summer, Sarah, Kathy, Lacey, Julie, and Angela are in. I know plans may have changed since then...but that was who was originally "in", in case your interested.
I meant after everyone read my opinion on what it was like with a small G2G with DH's at Sarah's wedding experience. If they think about how it may be a little awkward, they may change their minds.

Count us in. It was a bit awkward at Sarah's wedding. I honestly didn't feel it too much, though, but I think that's because I already knew all the girls there. DH said it was little weird, but he did enjoy talking to Summer's DH. I told DH about the couples thing and he said okay. He's kind of laid back and up for anything, though. He knows Summer's DH and Sarah's DH, so I think that will help.
I would love to go considering it is literally right down the road from me. However, I know Matt would not be in love with this idea and when I try to get him to do something he isnt in love with he will just sit there like a mute and be all pissy.
If you ladies decide not to do the couples and do a regular, I would love to come to that.
My DH is totally down for doing it only because he knows I want to. I know he's not in love with the idea. In fact, I know he thinks it's a little weird. But, I told him Lacey's DH would be there, so I think that acted as a slight buffer. ha.
Ditto this. Although his main concern is that none of the guys will show up and he will be the only one. LOL.

I agree it's a bit weird. It will probably be a bit awkward at first. But, it was a bit weird and awkward when we did our first G2G, too. I think it will end up being fun. 
I am very sad to say we are not going to be able to make it. Siavash's family is coming into town early for his local cousin's hs graduation on Saturday.
I was really looking forward to this. Boo.. :-/
