If you notice in my siggy pic, when I was a baby I had a small reddish bump/mole near my right eye. It went away by the time that I was 18mo.
If I remember correctly, it's nothing dangerous, just something some babies have. Actually it'd kind of funny b/c DH had one also when he was born. My mom calls it my "strawberry patch".
Did anyone else have on or have you heard about this? I'm looking to see if I have another pic with it on this computer
Re: Red "thing"
I think you probably had a hemangioma. They aren't uncommon for babies to have and usually go away on their own. I've heard them called 'angel kisses' before too, this is a way to explain it to kids; their parents tell them an angel with lipstick on kissed them goodbye right before they entered the world, and the mark is their lipstick.
Thanks for explaining. I'll have to confirm with my mom. But that's a lovely explanation! So sweet!

I agree w/Xan's diagnosis!
Angel Kiss--so cute! My niece was born with something like this, I think.
