Re: Best/Worst dates
Worst: My friend set me with a guy named Mike. At that point in my life I was not really into country guys but I liked the bad boys. Anyways I told her sure fine it was the summer I want to say late August and I was broke and bored and wanted a free meal. So the guy came and picked me up I was looking cute and I opened the door and it was a redneck guy....he had on nasty jeans that looked like he had just gotten finished changing his oil, a old white dirty tshirt that had a catfish on the front. Still thinking WTH a free meal. So I tried to pick a place where I did not think I would know alot of people so we went to Applebee's. We had very little in common and conversation was so forced it was painful. So, I drank myself into a stuper and I think the bill was well over 100.00 and most of it was my drinks. So we leave and he said he liked hanging out with me and I thought we were going to a bar nope we went to Wal-Mart. When he dropped me off I dodged kisses and groping. I think he called or texted daily for about a month and I never responded.
Best: Had to be with TT. We had been hanging out with each other for awhile and had drunkly made out a couple of times. Finally he sent me a message and asked me out. When he picked me up he said I thought we would try something different...We went and picked up food and beer and went to a refuge. We parked and walked to a picnic table that was beside the water. We had a camping latern and sat out there literally talking the entire night and watched the sun rise the next day. I remember walking in and my roommate looked and me and said you are going to marry him.
Worst: I was in junior high and went to hang out with a guy from my business class and a friend of his. He was a senior, but our parents knew each other and my mom worked with the other guy's mom, so they let me go. We ended up taking his friend home later and went driving around. We found a dirt road and started making out. We had been flirting for weeks, so I thought he actually liked me. Well, apparently he was just trying to get laid. When we talked a few days later, he said, "It was an accident." I asked him,"Sooo, your tongue just accidentally fell out of your mouth and landed in mine?" Jerk. It all worked out though. A year or so later we went out again and the same thing happened, but when he called me the next afternoon, I said, "Sorry. It was an accident." LOL
Best: I don't know that I have one specific best. Most of my favorites involved driving backroads, talking, and listening to the radio though.
Carmen, your worst tops them all! eek.
I went on a date with a guy to his college frat house to hang out. A friend of mine went with me and so did her BF. When we got there, the house was disgusting, they chucked beer bottles at a wall into a trash can in their LR. He was drunk and he smoked pot. It was so gross. He was hot, but not worth all that to me.
My best date- I have had SO many with DH. I think our date he planned when we got a private tour of the baseball stadium, and then we ended up in the dugout where he proposed to me
It was so awesome and sweet. He even had our families meets up with us at a restaurant nearby to celebrate.
I remember one of our first dates, it was snowing and he came to my door with dozens and dozens of red roses. He took me to a local pizza place and we drove around looking at christmas lights.
Worst: The guy that stood me up on Valentine's Day and then would not answer his phone and never emailed back. He was sent a very nasty email that night when I got home.
Best: Meeting DH. Our first date we went to see "Meet the Frockers" (my advice is to check a movie out before you go on a date as this movie was gross) and afterwards we went to McDonald's. It was nice. Our second date was NYE and we just hung out downtown.
