Sort of bummed
I was thinking about going to visit my college roomie in Orlando next week. She had a new baby in July and A's been asking to see her oldest daughter. Plus, I could stand to get out of Hsv for a while and clear my head. But all of the flights are ridiculousy overbooked and they finally cut out the direct flight. I know better than to travel standby with those odds and an almost 3 yr old. Blech. So much for flight benefits.

Thanks. As much as I want to see them it's not worth it to buy tickets. After working for an airline I know how much they're gauging people. I'm just going to wait until the flights look better for non-rev (I still fly for free & just pay taxes on her ticket).
Ooh. Driving 11 or so hrs alone with a 3 yr old would be bordering on Hell. ;-) I would consider it if I had someone to go with me. I def. agree driving is the way to go now most times.
