Kristen80- I went to HS with her husband in upstate NY. Found that out on FB after seeing a pic of Jake on her husband's FB page and recognizing the photo from the Nest. Kind of funny!
Kristina O- sorry can't think of nestie name. I think we had talked at one point about how my H knows your H through the Subaru club.
ummm oh, Apple and I have a mutual friend as well as Darcie and I as well.
(I spend too much time on FB apparently!)
Oh and not really FB related, but Jl&Jl knows a good friend of mine from her home town area.
I have a few random connections but Maine is seriously the small-town-world USA -- Kristina worked with DH's aunt... Kristen is friends with a few of DH's family friends/ SILs friends... I've noticed Mollie is friends with a friend of mine... etc.
I'm never too shocked at the connections though! At our wedding, my family friend didn't realize she'd run into her cousin who is friends with my ILs... another of our family friend mom grew up with ILs friends (and turns out our friend's mom's sister was very close with DH's childhood neighbor). DH & I grew up in two different parts of the state and our paths still crossed quite a bit.
I am so guilty of doing this!
I remember seeing a familiar name on a post a Nestie friend made. Mollie maybe? I can't remember for sure right now. So I clicked and sure enough that person is friends with a guy I used to date and a girl whose dad I work with. (And those 2 people grew up together and pretty much consider each other brother and sister)
Brianne's H and my BF used to work together - although we didn't figure that out on FB.
I'm sure there are more, I don't think I'm friends w/all the Maine nesties yet though!
I don't have that many connections since I'm new to Maine, but
Darcie worked with DH's cousin's girlfriend at camp.
Mesa is mutual friends with someone that came into the vet I worked at alot. I think it's funny because some of the older ladies had a crush on him so when he comments on her wall I laugh a little
Is that the south african? If so, he's married to my childhood best friend... oh and I'm surprised we don't have more people in common since I grew up in the town you live in. I think your DH is a few years older than me though.

Yeah, DH knows lots of people, but is mostly "friends" with all of his cousins so his non-related friends are more in the York and Boston area. He'll be 35 this July. I'm only just making friends in town. When I worked for the PD the only one who lived here other than myself was the Chief! She's not on here anymore since she got married, but a former Nestie/Knottie graduated from KHS. Kelly B? Father owned the clock shop.
He's one of the most genuinely nice people I've ever met. Just a sweetheart. Since we moved away before high school, I lost touch with most people but still are friends with some & then reconnected with a bunch thru FB. Kelly B & I knew a lot of the same people-- she is a year ahead of meI think. I don't know when LLP graduated but I know she is a few years younger than me too.
Rick lived down in kport? Really? He never mentioned that. He's DH's college roommate. He was in our wedding & DH was his BM.
Not talking about the same person then, I don't think! Mine isn't a police officer.
Oh, haha... I totally misunderstood you-- I have a rick b on my friend's list and was all confused... but no, I don't think I knew him.
Mesa, when did you graduate high school? I was born in KP, but left before school started. I still have a couple family friends in the area.
I don't think that I've had any small world connections with many of you. The only ones, that I remember, are when I'm "working" but those connections are usually caused by you. If that is too cryptic when ignore me.
I graduated in 99-- but not from KHS since we moved to MA. We left in 1993 I think. My sister was 01, brother 03. A lot of my connections go back to nursery school!
