Affordable Salon??

I am looking for an affordable place to get my hair colored... all the places I have found are like $100- $150 which is ridiculous!!! I dont need any special cut or style just color... any recommendations?

Re: Affordable Salon??

  • I have friends who go to Paul Mitchell school, it's students who do it but they go because it's CHEAP. It can take longer than usual because of hair students, and is supervised by instructors, but you might want to give it a try.
I twitter randomly about gardening, sustainable living, local restaurants, cooking and more. Follow me on Twitter at Sarah_STL
  • I am a hair snob! I had to pay 300 dollars to re-do what a salon in downtown St. Louis did...horrible.horrible.horrible.
The best bang for your buck in IL, Eclipse Salon in Lebanon, IL.  Two women own and do it all and they.are.simply.amazing.

Lebanon is a cute vintage town and totally worth the drive! Amanda is who I go to!
  • I like Changes.  They're on Tesson, next to the Antique Mall.
  • Do you go to a certain person at Changes?  Or are there a few people you would recommend there?
