Free Donut Day

Did anyone get a free donut today? I got my fave french cruller at DD. It was delish and what a good excuse to eat a (free) pastry for breakfast.

 I REALLY wish we had a krispy kreme around here . . .

Eli and I did! As we were getting ready this morning he kept saying "I want some cake please." Totally random and he got over it, but then I remembered it was free donut day, so we stopped at DD on the way to daycare. Even had a few spare minutes so we went in and sat at a little table to split the donut. He said "This is so fun. I love it." Pretty sweet (pun intended) way to start the day!

I likewise wish we had a KK here.  Try as I might, I just can't get on board with Dunks.  I think that means I'll never be a true New Englander.

I thought about it but I decided to take Helen to Tim Horton's after her doctor's appointment because they have chocolate doughnut holes with sprinkles, which are her favorite. To get the free doughnut at Tim Horton's you have to "like" them on Facebook and print a coupon. Meh.

I knew it was National Doughnut Day but had no idea there were free doughnuts involved.  Clearly I need to pay more attention!

I purposefully left the house this morning without eating so I could get my donut at the DD in Walmart.  I had a maple frosted...mmmmm!

I did! I had forgotten it was and I went anyway to get a coffee. But I agree, I love Krispy Kreme!!!

Very much agree! I like the drinks but their food is HORRIBLE. I mean just plain bad. 

Although I got a chai on Friday morning and those bastards didn't offer me a damn thing.
