That is scary! I mean, I know that none of us will be (or were) at 37 what we were at 17, but it is clear that she has aged far beyond what she should have.

Besides the cigs/drugs - I would say that the sun is next biggest culprit for her skin being shot to crap so young. Even though I am brown-skinned, I still avoid baking in the sun like the plague. It really does break the skin down. A great cautionary photojourney!

I'm 38, and here's me last month... I feel like I look 10 years younger than her. And so do many of my friends in their early 40s. The ones who smoke and drink a lot do look older.

lol you totally do!  see what taking care of your self does!  and yeah i agree with the sun part too!  i'm totally white (polish, french, and a tad portuguese) and used to love to oil up before going to the beach but now I'm smat lol and stick w/ at least SPF 15 every morning!

Every time you say your age I'm like she's SO NOT 38!! You have good genes!!

However I agree its really sad. I'm another one who is all waspy and a little Italian and I have a baby face. I sit under an umbrella whenever I'm at a pool/beach (plus sunscreen). The best thing you can do for yourself is take care of your body/skin!!

Um, yea, Lori, you are gorgeous! So not true for Kate. That is just SICK!

Part of me wonders how many drugs she's been using too.  I know smoking and drinking are NOT good for your looks...but boy she sure looks like she's been doing more than a couple lines of coke here and there and smoking cigarettes.  Just my opinion!
