No Prayer at Graduation?

Have any of you seen this story?  I think that judge went a bit to far.  That child is not going to ?suffer irreparable harm? if he hears a prayer.

This is the town my mom is from and she graduated from that HS.  My youngest cousin just graduated from there last year.  It is very interesting because this is a small town and almost everyone goes to the Catholic church.  I'm not even sure there is another church in town.  They are all in an uproar over this.

I think that's absolutely ridiculous.

He's 18. Pretty much everything he hears goes in one ear out the other anyway.

Unless you're talking about genitalia, Summer's definitely right.  This sounds like it's coming more from the parents than anything else.

I bet those parents would have had a fit about my high school graduation... it was at Prestonwood Baptist Church.
