Taste of Ann Arbor- any good?

Is it worth it to go?  How big is it?

We had Taste of Buffalo back home and it was huge and very crowded. I wouldn't go with the kids because it's awful to try to walk with a stroller/walk near people with strollers.

Just wondering if it's worth scheduling it into our weekend?

Re: Taste of Ann Arbor- any good?

  • I haven't been to the one in AA but there are so many places there with great food I can imagine it would be worth it!

it's a big enough town that it could be busy but should still be a good time.
  • I've never been to taste of Ann Arbor, but if you haven't been to Ann Arbor before, it's worth making the trip.  They downtown area is fun to walk around.  I just looked at the list and alot of our favorite restaurants are participating!  DH and I really like Arbor Brewing, Schakolad, Blue Tractor, Conor O'Neil's, Gratzi, and Real Seafood.  And Cupcake Station!

If you don't head out there for this, you should be sure to make a trip out to Ann Arbor sometime for dinner.  It's only about 20-25 minutes from Canton depending on where you are.

I agree with this 100%.  I've never been to the taste of Ann Arbor, but there are so many amazing restaurants that it's got to be good.  Every restaurant that is listed above is great.  You should definitely check it out!

  • Definitely go!  Some of my favorite restaurants are Grizzly Peak, Blue Tractor, Jolly Pumpkin, Melange and Connor O'Neils.  The only place I've tried and didn't care for was Habana.  I'm not a big Cuban food fan apparently.
  • Thanks ladies! I think we're going to check it out.

  • Glad you decided to go! It's definitely a great event. DH ran the Dexter Ann Arbor half yesterday so we walked around for a little bit.
