anybody having major ant issues?
We have an exterminator and all he does is scold us about the weeds we have growing on the outside of the house. I've contacted lots of landscaping companies who never call back- but seriously it's like a Hitchcock movie up in here. Has anyone used a good exterminator?

We use Lincoln Pest Control and had them do monthly treatments for a while. We haven't had ant issues yet this year, but we tend to end up with issues around our sink in the summer regardless of how much caulking and care we take.
We used Lincoln Pest Control last year. They did recommend we remove any wood/mulch/vegetation that was touching the house, because it can attract the ants or help them climb around the treatment area.
I would suggest that you really only need an exterior treatment done, too.we had an interior treatment done too, but now knowing how it works I think we really didn't need that - I think Lincoln did it as a standard thing, but if we had them back again I'd ask for exterior only.

A friend of mine had ants and they would never go away no matter who she had come out to try to get rid of them. My uncle was able to.
