Somehow I missed your post about baby #2!!! Yay! How exciting!
Congratulations!
Also, what did you decide to do about working next year? I can tell you, this year has not been as bad as last year in terms of job cuts and budget cuts... if something doesn't work out for the beginning of the school year I'm sure you'd be able to get something mid-year with people who decide to quit or retire! Do you only have one school district to work with or are there others within driving distance?

Expecting Baby #1 October 1, 2013
Re: *Erin*
Thank you!!
I am still going to substitute next year and look into long term sub opportunities for the middle to end of the year or hopefully a full time opportunity. I will continue to work at the resort as much as I hate it, but I need it for my health benefits. There are other school districts but the one I am working for right now is so big (6 elementary schools) that it keeps me pretty busy. A friend of mine works at the other district by us and she sent me a list of LTS positions but they all go through December which I won't be able to do since the baby is due in December. I figure everything happens for a reason and maybe an opportunity will be waiting for me after the baby is born. Trying to keep optimistic and all options open.
I do wish this pregnancy was planned better, but obviously another plan has been made for me and my family. I know something will come along eventually, I just hope it is not too far out.
