fabulous weekend! (long)
On Friday, my fabulous H was accepted to UCSD! I know I've talked about him before, but to recap - he never finished college when he was younger due to financial and family issues. He owned his own contracting company, but was really unhappy. He sold the company and moved out here to start over. We met here, got married, and he started taking classes (after 12 years off) at a local community college. On Friday we found out he was accepted to UCSD for physics! I am so proud of him.
On Saturday, we bought an old minivan for my work. I am a nanny, and my boss just had a new baby. We have a small 2 door car and I need to fit 3 carseats. So we didn't have a ton of money, and everything we looked at was crap. But yesterday we found a fabulous car ('96 Chrysler Town and Country) that was in great shape, and was super inexpensive. It had been a family car, and held up really well. We were down to 2 weeks before I needed it, so we were starting to get very stressed. It's so great to have that weight off our shoulders.
Then this morning, we decided to take a pregnancy test. It was a little early, and we didn't expect it to be positive, but it was!!!!!!!!! I am so amazed - I can't even believe it's real!

I drove a Chrysler town & Country station wagon in college-lol. Yes, I was super cool-ha! Does it have the "wood paneling" on the sides?? I am hoping to turn in my clunker in August myself.
I just started an online class myself and applied for a few additional classes for grad school in Sept.
My EDD is 2/7/12-you should join the February 2012 board on the bump we can adopt each other
Went for my first u/s today also and saw a tiny 10mm sac:)
