Rearranging furniture poll
We are still settling into our house so we haven't solidified our room layouts. Today we totally rearranged our living room and it made me think...do others change things up every so often or once set up do your rooms stay put?? Growing up our main rooms were pretty much the same for several years but we moved around the bedroom layouts every year or maybe every other year
So...do you move things around? How often?
Re: Rearranging furniture poll
Depends on the room.... most of our rooms can't really be arranged due to door placement/size of room. So we usually just figure out the best way and leave it. I usually only move things when I need to fit my Christmas tree.
When I lived in my parents house I had a huge bedroom and would rearrange it allllll the time. My parents rearrange the living room during different seasons to take advantage of the fireplace
My Happy House
Exactly!
The only rooms that haven't been rearranged in our house are the Great Room and our Bedroom. The layouts work. We have rearranged the other rooms 2-3 times already in the last 4 years.
Ours stay the same. We can't really move stuff around due to cables for TVs, windows, etc. The only time we move something around is if we get new furniture and we do some shifting to accommodate our Christmas tree.
Side note: as a kid, I LOVED to rearrange by bedroom furniture about once a year, sometimes more. Some of the layouts were super impractical (one time I had my bed at an angle from the corner of the room). It would take me almost an entire weekend to move the furniture), but I was always super proud.
