So, tell me about Ashby Park/splash pad. I'm trying to decide if I'm brave enough to take both of my kids there, alone. Is it fenced in? Is the playground equipment close enough to the Splash Area that you can easily see both? I have a 2 year old with a mind of her own - so keeping her contained to 1 area is challenging, pair that withna mobile 1 year old and we're basically a traveling circus! Thanks!

Re: Ashby Park
I took both kids last year when Ana was 6 mos old. It's great because it's flat and not very deep so you can always see your kid from any place you sit. There's zero depth entry which is nice. It's not fenced in but you can see everywhere. It has trees surrounding it and a life guard. The park might be a little harder to see from the splash pad itself. If you sat back from it, out of the water, you could see both the water and the park though.
Katen, Ana, and I will probably be there this morning. We'll see how it goes with both more mobile. lol!
