Need food ideas for a murder mystery party
Hi Ladies
I need so help with a menu for a murder mystery party. The murder takes place at an Italian mob wedding. So I am looking for easy Italian style apps. Any ideas? I will be 8months pregant at the time of the party so the easier the recipes the better. Thanks for your help!

Antipasti platter - cheeses (parmagianno, provolone, mozzarella, etc), meats (salami, prociutto, etc), marinated olives, roasted peppers, marinated artichoke hearts, etc. If you have a nicer grocery store near you, they likely even have an antipasta bar where you can get everything you need.
I'd also have crusty bread and olive oil.
For a hot app - you can do meatballs in the crock pot.
ETA: Thought of a few more things:
Crostinis with different toppings - tapenade, caramelized onions & goat cheese, traditional bruschetta
Mushrooms stuffed with Italian sausage
You can do a simple platter with fresh mozzarella, basil and tomato - lay them overlapping (cheese, basil, tomato, cheese, basil, tomato etc) like you would with a meat or cheese platter and then drizzle it with olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. Tasty as is or with crostini.
Ditto caramelized onions and goat cheese on crostini - also very easy to prepare and SO yummy!
