Yellow fungus on mulch
I recently planted azealas with harwood mulch and have found yellow fungus, which continues to grow. Does anyone know about this? Is it harmful to my plants?

There is something called Dog Vomit Fungus. I know....gross. It's actually a slime mold. I kick it aside and it goes away. There are some sites on google that says bleach will kill it.
If that's what it is, it's harmless.
Ha ha! Here in TX we call it cat barf fungus! And yes, it's yucky looking but harmless.
