Hot Wifey: Getting Back on Track
So after an absence of a few weeks, I figured I better bring it back to help me stay accountable to something!
Now that the weather is finally nicer, what's your favorite exercise/activity to do outside? How often do you do said activity?
Have you lost anything, gained or maintained your weight?
Would you be interested in doing weekly exercise challenges to target a trouble zone or just to keep you moving?
Re: Hot Wifey: Getting Back on Track
In this weather, there will be nothing cardiovascular that I'll be doing outdoors so that I don't die. The one thing that stinks about Kansas is there is no more than about 2 weeks of "spring" weather before the death of summer is upon us. I would love to do an exercise challenge where we target zones each week - I keep a log in my e-mail account of exercise options and can just select from those, do a quick routine in my house and be done for the day. I am exactly at the same weight I have been at for almost 2 years, but my body looks different because my eating habits have changed.
A10 Siggy Challenge: Our Next Vacation Destination: Paris!
I'm with Jeni - the summer actually means no more outdoor activity for me it's so f*ing hot! I try to run one night a week and it's not too bad if I go around 6:00 p.m. or so, but that may not last too much longer.
I've gotten back on track with eating this past week, but my workouts were all screwed up because of memorial day. I guess technically I'm maintaining but I dont' like where I'm maintaining AT, so I am hoping for some loss this week. It's not the # on the scale so much as I can see my tone turning to flab.
I probably wouldn't participate in a target zone thing because I have a pretty set workout schedule, but I think it's a good idea!
Well, it was horrible here yesterday with the heat and will be the next few days. Saturday was ridiculous humid and hot as well, but my mom and I still got in a 3 mile walk. I have been doing so much cleaning and organizing at the house the last few weeks, that has kept me moving more than usual after work. I have been off of working out for a week (so bad...), but at least I have been active.
I still notice my clothes fitting a little looser, but I'm not keeping my hopes up for much weight loss...I'm just hoping for no gain. I am going to weigh myself tonight as I am having my mom do the aerobic class that I have made to start as soon as I get my studying and testing completed. I have been on and off of eating well. I have my family reunion in (see ticker at the bottom), so I need to kick it in to high gear.
I would definitely be into doing a target zone thing! I think if we have it just be a 10-20 minute thing that we could do in the mornings, then I think everyone could participate (you, too Rach!) : )
