basement crack repair (mardoll?)

Mara- Weren't you looking into having a basement crack repaired?  I remember a discussion a while back about this and I know someone was looking into it.  If so- did you end up hiring someone and were you happy?  I'm looking to have a small crack repaired.

Anyone else have recs?

Re: basement crack repair (mardoll?)

  • We used Stay Dry Waterproofing over in Lansing a few months ago. It cost us 450 because the previous owners had tried fixing it themselves, so if it's untouched it will be cheaper. Also it has a lifetime warranty.

  • Yes, we had a small crack in our foundation.  We ended up discovering that an animal had burrowed into the dirt next to the house right where the crack was, which was basically funneling water into the crack.  We re-graded the dirt outside, and inside we bought a tube of concrete crack filler and squirted it in there.  That seems to have done the trick, we haven't had any water come through since.
