I've been trying to post more but I technically still qualify for as a "newbie" so here's an introduction
I am 21 and my DH is 23 and we have been married just over a year. We are both full time college students: I am getting ready to start my senior year of nursing and DH is a junior in an accounting program. We are currently TTA until 2012. The exact time in 2012 depends on when DH is planning on graduating and me getting a job. We have no fur babies but we do have a goldfish
Hmm...I don't know what else to say but ask anything and I'll answer!!
Thanks for being brave ladies! Welcome to the board and feel free to participate to whatever extent you are comfortable.
Nicely done.
I did an into a couple of days ago, but the board was really slow. So, here's another.
My DH and I just started TTC. We were going to start earlier but he deployed so that got put on the back burner. He is in the Army and we now live in upstate NY. We're from Texas so I like to complain about the snow a lot
I got diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago and 3 weeks ago I started taking Metformin. Here's to hoping that's the trick!

I've been posting here for 2 weeks now, but i'll re-introduce myself.
We are currently TTA. As we are still in graduate school, but within the next year we will be done and moving. After that TTC will be put on the table. As neither of us have an actual defense date we sadly have no start date for TTC. I've been charting for two cycles (today is CD 1 for cycle 3, and its kicking my butt).
lol! I knew I could count on you.

I posted for the first time this past weekend, but I shall formally introduce myself.
DH and I are both 24. I'm a full time college student studying early childhood ed. DH works for a computer manufacturing company. We live in the suburbs of ATL and have two furbabies, Skittles (black fuzzball cat) and Athena (brindle boxer). We are just about to be out of debt and start a small nest egg. We are TTA until then. DH and I expect we'll TTC sometime after October.
Hi Ladies,
I've been lurking on this board for a couple weeks. This is my first post on here, and I've been thinking about introducing myself. It sounded like you were talking to me, so here goes. DH and I are not TTC yet, hence the lurking. We hopefully will be sometime next year. We are both 32, so I sometimes worry about the fact that I'm not getting any younger, but the reason we are waiting is b/c DH started his own business last year. So far this year he has been much busier, but we have to make sure the business will be stable enough before expanding our family. I've been on ff and have been thinking about taking the charting course. I figure it will be good to know these things before we start trying, but of course on the other hand I don't want to get obsessed with it. I hope you ladies all get your bfp's soon
I'm not sure I re-introed when I got a new SN, so here goes:
I am 34 and DH is 38. We have been ttc for 3 years, the last 8 months or so with our wonderful RE. We have unexplained IF.
We have two cats and two dogs in our apartment, so our house can get a bit crazy at times.
I work for a Fortune 100 company in Finance and DH is a recruiter. My job has been super flexible with all of my dr appointments and I work with a great group of people.
"I DO NOT love that you think so many things revolve around you. I know you're bitter. I get it. But I'm over your feelings." The best person on the internet ever!
I did an intro a couple of months ago but do not really post reguarlly so here goes,
I am 32 years old currently SO and I are not not trying after an CP over a year ago could never bring myself to go back on BC so we just decided to go not not trying. I I just finished my second month charting and I love it. It makes me feel hopeful that when it is time to start trying I will know my body.
My Chart
I've introduced myself before but since I still have the "Newbie" tag I will introduce again. My name is Kelle (33) and my H is Mike (37). We were married 12-11-2010 and have been TTC since our wedding night. We are now on our 7th cycle with no BFP's. I was diagnosed in 2006 with a blood clotting disorder and am on medication for that for life. We have been told by 2 specialists that with this disease I still can have a successful pregnancy...now its just to get to that point. We are from PA and have 4 fur babies....2 lab mixes and 2 cats.

I don't know if 3 months counts as a newbie still and I intro'ed myself back when I first started posting.. but I will do it again!!
DH and I are both 24 and been out of college for a about 2 1/2 years now. We met at college-he was my big brother's frat brother. I was a journalism major but made the switch to teaching and he came home to the family farm. We have one 'child' (see below) and many, many cows! We were married in Jan 2010 and have been TTC since March. I started charting this month and love hanging out here with you ladies!
I'm not total newbie, but I'll reintro anyways. I am 26 and my husband is 28. We have been married for 2.5 years and together for almost 6. This is still cycle 1 of ttc and I'm giving it until CD80 and then I'm scheduling another appointment with the doctor. We have two furbabies, Cody and Rusty, and our world revolves around them a lot of the time!
I'm not really a newbie, but i do mostly lurk!
I'm Jessica... I'm 37 and have been married to DH, 35, for almost 3 years. We waited to TTC as we wanted to enjoy married life for awhile, and then I got a new job so we wanted to wait a bit while i settled in. This is our fourth cycle of TTC and I learned 99% of what i know about TTC from you girls!
I did an intro a few months ago. I'm just really bad about posting.
Both DH & I are still 29. We've been married for almost 4 years. We live about an hour outside of DC. Only change I've had since my intro was finally getting a new Dr. She is a lot more supportive than the previous one and didn't understand why the first one said half the things she did to me. (they were in my chart that doc 1 forwarded to doc 2). New doc said to keep trying for 6 more months, if nothing happened she'd have DH in to get a S/A done, since his fertility hasn't been evaluated post chemo. He finished chemo3 years this month, oncologist wanted us to wait 2 years before trying to give us the best chance. If the S/A showed no problems, we'd discuss our options. New doc didn't seem to concerned with my endo, but said we'd see how we made out on our own first, before looking at the other options. Unlike doc 1 who told me at 25 I needed to try soon and at 27 that I'd waited too long to even try (when we hadn't tried)
Cancer sucks.
Hello GPers!
I did an intro a month or two ago. I've tried to be a bit more active on the board so you all can get to know me a little better.
My H and I were married last November after 10 years of dating. I am 29 and he is 32. I have a 12 (almost 13) year old DS from a previous relationship. I work full-time and I go to school part-time. DH and I are TTA but will start TTC over the summer. I went off BCP in April and the cramps are a killer! LOL.
Thanks for having me!
Hello all! I intro'd a couple weeks ago, but I'll officially do it here.
My name is Andrea, I'm 28 years old, my DH is 29, we both have birthdays in early July though, so DH is about to hit the big 3-0. I am on my last week of taking my BCP, then all bets are off. If something doesn't happen immediately, we'll do a few months of TTA while charting and using back up since we are both in my little SIL's wedding out of state next May and that might cause some issues if we conceived in Aug/Sept. Oh well, we're flexible for now.
We have one fur-baby, Oscar, as you can see in my siggy. He's 4 1/2 and my favorite little guy. I've been trying to get DH to let me get another corgi so Oscar can have a little brother but I think DH would prefer a real baby to another fur-baby.
ETA: We were married in September 2008, so we're coming up on our 3 year anniversary, and I just booked our anniversary trip to Telluride with an awesome Living Social deal for a nice resort there!
I know, I know, this is me. I came out to play on one little post and got called out - haha! I've been lurking since October of last year...shocking! I do way more reading than posting, but I do post on the Atlanta board and H&F and some on Pets. ( I fall into the "I know I'm a newbie but feel like I know all you sweet ladies" category!)
DH and I are 27. I'm a full-time grad student. He works for a non-profit. We are TTA until November-ish. We have two furbabies. I feel like I have learned tons from the board, but it moves so fast during the day that I don't have time to respond to stuff. And I'm pretty much MIA during the summer b/c I have an 8-week clinic rotation with zero internet during the day. So I have a feeling I'll be doing this all over again in August!!!
I guess I'm kind of new, but I'm TTA so I hope I can still post here. I'll be 28 next month and DH is 27. We were married 10/10/09 (kelnyc and I are wedding date twins) and we're currently living in St. Louis.
As I mentioned, we're TTA but I just stopped taking BCPs this cycle so I've been on here a TON in the last few months, trying to get charting tips. My main reason for going off is to get my sex drive back, so I'm hopeful that will work.
Our main reason for TTA is financial... we're still paying off student loans and debt we both amassed in college. We're getting close though! But, DH told me a few days ago that he might want to go back to school so that might put us off a few more years.
We do have an adorable furbaby, as you can see in my siggy.
He's a 6 year old Shiba Inu named Beau and he's the love of my life!
Everyone here has been so great and helpful. I got my first creamy CM today so I really feel like I'm doing it right! It's crazy to see what I've been reading about actually happening!
I doubt anyone will recognize me, I have been trying to contribute more but I'll post an intro anyways.. .
I am 27 and DH is 29 been TTC for 19 mos now. Currently TTA for 2 cycles and until karyotying results come back. DH is a cancer survivor. We have had some TTC challenges due to some effects from the chemo treatments. We live in eastern Canada. It's known for its beautiful scenery, friendly people and slower pace of life. I can't imagine living anywheres else. We have two kitties (one pictured in my sig) who keep our days full of entertainment.
I am silly, crazy and simple - I love nothing more than spending an evening curled up lost in a good book with a cup of tea
I've done an intro before but don't post as often as I should!
My FI (31) and I (29) have been together for about a year and a half now, we are getting married on January 27th of next year. We live in So Ca, he is a high school teacher and I am a human resources coordinator for a hospice company. I am also in the process of getting my maters degree. We have 2 dogs, Chloe is a 1 year old mutt (who is the smartest dog I have ever owened lol) and Tucker is my 7 year old terrier mix that I have had since he was 6 months old.
We are currently TTA until after the wedding. I'd be ok not preventing at that point but he wants to wait at least 6 months before we start TTC...I'm hoping he'll change his mind! I recently went off BCPs mainly because I had little to no sex drive and want to change that! This is my 2nd month charting and I am loving it!
I would love to have a TTA buddy, so if any of you ladies who are TTA are interested by all means let me know!
I'll reintroduce myself.
I did an intro many months ago when I was able to get on more often and we first started TTC.
DH and I are both 29. I am a tax attorney and he is a manger at a software company. We have been married 6.5 years, together for over 11 years. We have been TTC since Aug. 2010. So far I have had a vag. us and CD 3 bw done, both of which came back normal. DH just did his SA last week and all was good there too. We'll keep trying for the next couple of months and if necessary go back in for more testing in Aug/Sept.
If you want to know more, just ask! I am pretty open, especially since it seems not many people IRL can understand how I am feeling right now.
