Laurelhurst Park in SE/N Portland, it's very near Burnside and 39th(which is now Cesar Chavez), it's a huge park with lots of shade, a play structure for the kids, duck ponds, etc.  Plenty of parking and lots of picnic tables.

Let's make it a picnic potluck, everyone bring something snacky to munch on.

Everyone is welcome, please RSVP here so I know how large of an area to reserve!  Kids are welcome!  Ladies only, let's leave the husbands at home this time.

That's my birthday!!!!!   Someone bake me a cake. ha ha.  I may stop by for a bit depending on if James plans anything for me during the day that  day to celebrate. our big celebration is the 24th so likely I'll be there at least a little bit.

It's officially saved in my phone's calendar, so it's a done deal! I'll be there. I'll bring a pasta chicken salad if that sounds ok. It's summery and easy.

Oh, and I have no idea what I'll be bringing 'cause I don't even know if I'll have a place to live by then or a proper kitchen, so it may be something from the deli.

And...I told my DH that "this girl on the nest that loves the Steelers is moving here" and he said "you should make friends with her" LOL!  I have a whole Steelers crowd that you can join this fall and watch the games, if you aren't intimidated by loud, drunk, obnoxious men

I'm fairly certain I'll be there, though I'm on call so I may have to step away to deal with host family issues.  No idea what I'll be bringing; I usually bring dessert but it sounds like we have that covered?  Eh, I'll come up with something.

Haha! No worries, there! I'm really sad to be leaving my awesome Steelers crowd here, so I look forward to meeting another group.  :-)

Thanks for the advance notice...i could never make the other ones when I lived here last time.  Mark me as tentative....I really want to come, but not sure yet if we'll be out of town that weekend or not.

We will be there (kiddos and I). I haven't been to a GTG in over a year.  Thanks Jen for setting this up.  Looking forward to saying hi to my fellow local nesties and meet the new ones.
