Windshield repair

DH has some small chips in his windshield that need to be filled in.  Our insurance will cover this 100% to avoid paying for a full windshield, but I have no idea who to call.  I'd prefer someone who will come to his work, but would be willing to have him take it in if that isn't an option.  So who have you used?

Did you call your insurance or do you just know they'll cover it? My insurance agent set it up for me when I needed a chip fixed. The company (sorry, don't remember who they sent) just called to ask when would be the best time and where the car would be.

I'm sure someone one here will respond with an actual company, but if not, I'd probably just open the yellow pages and pick a name you've heard of. I doubt there are any out there that won't come to you and it's a quick and simple process so I doubt one company is better than the other as far as the repair goes. (Customer relations could easily be a different story).

We called our agent about it, but his office is clear up in NW Iowa so he doesn't really know anyone to recommend around here.

I had Safelite come do mine. Not cheap, but if your insurance is paying, I'd go that route!  They did it in my work parking lot while I was working.

Ditto Safelite! They do all of our stuff and also DH's clients (works in insurance). They will come to your DH's office.

Safelite Repair is a pretty popular chip repair service.  I believe they will come to your location and fix the chip.  Our insurance company uses them as an approved glass vendor.
