Thanks for asking! I meant to get on to update, but sickness kicked in again after the appointment, so I never made it back.
The appointment was great! I had to pick a doctor based on Yelp reviews since I didn't have one, and she was awesome. Even better though, DH and I got to see our little baby and see/hear the heartbeat! It was amazing. Baby was measuring at 6w3d, which the doctor said is normal, and the heartbeat was 140 bpm. We get to go back in 3 weeks for another freebie ultrasound because that is her favorite age and she wants us to see it again! Can't wait
Hope you're feeling well! It was 95 in Chicago yesterday and I was so miserable from the heat. I can't imagine how you're feeling!
That is awesome! It is always so exciting to see your baby for the first and see/hear the heartbeat. When you go back in three weeks and see the baby it will be so surreal how much it's changed and grown. And also how much it's wiggling around you don't feel a thing, haha.
I try to stay indoors as much as possible these days. It's not that bad, and with only 8 weeks left I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
