Good morning. Busy time at work this AM.
Holly - try deleting and re-adding that email account. Page me here if that doesn't work. I have a 3GS and have added/removed accounts many times, but haven't had that problem. Can you send/receive emails from that account elsewhere?
BTW, did you see/hear about the new features in iOS5? I WANT!!!
I went ahead and deleted/added again and that worked. I think part of the problem was that I had it set up as a POP3 instead of using Hotmails mobile option.
I haven't heard about the new features in iOS5 yet. Does it spout unicorns and puppies?

Oh yes, iOS5 will be the shiznit. It'll sprout rainbow unicorns and extra-cute puppies! Seriously though - wireless sync, a new IM interface across all iOS devices, notifications is completely revamped (no interruptions!), and finally having the ability to change the freaking alert tones! Plus a bunch of other stuff, of course.
The tones got DH and I really excited. We both have iPhones, as do half our friends. In any group situation, when you hear a "ding" for email, you hear everybody proclaiming if it's them or not. At home, DH thinks it's never his and it usually is, hahaha!
this astounds me a little...eve free flip phones can change the sounds! stuff like this is why i don't get apple sometimes.

Yeah... they get so much right, but miss the little things. I think the iOS5 updates will address every minor complaint I've ever had though.
Still, you'll have to pry my Apple devices from my cold dead hands, lol. I used to hate Apple/Macs. Now I'm a little fangirl! You could say that in a way, Microsoft pays our bills, since we're both in IT and work with Windows primarily. We go home to Apple though.
