I am officially an Iowan!  I am not sure what is official about it other than I am here.   Still working on selling the house in Colorado and had my second interview for a teaching job today so things are looking promising so far.

Helloo!  Yes it is a teaching job in Muscatine- in the exact grade level I wanted!  It seems to good to be true.   So DH has a job, I have a job, and now we just need to make sure the contract on our house goes through before we start looking for our house... one last step!  Thanks for all of your support.  Once things settle down, I would love to plan a GTG at a winery or something fun.

I just got to scope out the Amana wine tasting rooms with the in-laws over the weekend. It's a lot of fruity wines and only a few more "traditional" wines but it's a really cute little town.

There's also a place in Muscatine called Wine Nuts that I've never been to but have to try one of these days....

Awesome!  I didn't know about the place in Muscatine so I will have to check it out and let you know.  There is a winery near here called Arden Creek winery which is nice.  I would really like to go to the wineries at Amana though.  We should definitely plan a GTG there!

We're still trying to decide what to do for the weekend of the 4th - we're either hangingo out around here or heading up to Summerfest. We should be around the 9th... DH has been talking about heading up to the Twin Cities for a Beer Festival that either the 16th or 23rd....
