GR area parks

Here is a link to a list of GR area parks

Who knew there were so many water playgrounds around the city? I've only been to Tassel park out of this whole list. Very fun, low frills fountain to run through, but it was perfect for us.

If anyone is up for a little splash pad fun, let me know.

Re: GR area parks

  • grazie mille!!!!!!
  • Aberdeen is not too far from us, and I had no idea there was water there.

That's not one of the public pools, is it?

    Thanks for posting this!

  • Hmmmm. I don't remember a water playground when I was at Aberdeen park last.  That was almost 2 years ago though!

When I looked up the park on the GR Parks and Rec website I saw a picture of 2 tall yellow hooks.  I think these spray water.  The city site definitely lists swimming pools separately from water playgrounds, so this shouldn't be a case of lumping pools and splash pads together.

At least it better not be...Henry and I are in major need of randomly spraying water that we can run through. No a/c is getting to us already!
