I was wondering if any of you had a spa to recommend. A friend and I want to have a spa day so here I am trying to narrow things down a bit.
Re: Spa Recs
I never met a spa I didn't like. My last two experiences have been at the Hiatus Spa on Lovers and both were wonderful. However, they have spa memberships so the non-member spa prices are way inflated.
I like the Aveda spa in West Village but (at least as of my wedding in 2009) they didn't do manis or pedis--although possibly that has changed.
Red Door across from Northpark is great too.
Pure in Mockingbird Station--love it and I ended up wishing I had had my BM spa day here (instead of at Riveria which I don't recommend).
Most of the ones I have been to are all generally located in the same area. I had a spa day at the Grand Spa International years ago.
With All the Trimmings
Just do it!
I second Red Door. I've been there a few times and really like it.
However, I have heard some good things about the spa at Hotel Palomar. I've been wanting to try that too.
