Printer just for pics from Iphone ?
Anyone have one of these? My mom just got an iphone and is all upset b/c she only understands printing pictures from a memory card from her camera (getting her to understand this was harder than the moon landings!!), which of course, there isn't in an iphone. I have seen printers that are just for iphones with docking stations (more or less) where you can just insert it into the printer and go for it. They are clearly aimed at people like my mother b/c they are very simple, easy to use, etc. Anyone have one of these? any recs? TIA

I don't have experience with those docking printers, but if you plug the iPhone into a computer, you can access the photos just like on a memory card.
yeah - I am looking for something for my mom. She just can't manage that much technology. I am looking for something SUPER simple for her that she can just plug her phone into - like this:

Can you tell me briefly how to do this? how do you "print" from the phone? - My Dh is pretty computer savvy so I think he can set it up but I am not familiar with this option - TIA!
There are a couple of ways to get it done. I have the iphone 4, so I'm not sure if it's different on an older iphone.
First, go into the photo gallery on the phone, click on the little "share" icon and then click on print. I should prompt you to pair the phone with a printer on the network.
If it doesn't find the printer, do not fear. From what I understand there are few printers that the iphones do find.
You can download an app called printopia, but the downside is that it's $20 bucks. (http://www.ecamm.com/mac/printopia/)
