Breakfast Casserole - Crockpot
Hi ladies! I need some help - I'm throwing a baby shower and need some ideas for a breakfast casserole that I can make in the crockpot. Or, I guess just something that can stay warm in a crockpot as the shower is 2+ hours away. I'm open to anything! Thank You!!

Re: Breakfast Casserole - Crockpot
Ahh we love to tailgate and Iowa games are usually at 11am so...
I'm thinking a couple of things. You can always do cheesy potatoes/party potatoes and add ham to make them breakfast-ey. Or...
Hashbrown and bacon Quiche
Autumn Apple Pumpkin Crockpot cake
Breakfast Burritos
Bacon Wrapped Smokies - but instead of smokies, how about little sausages??
Or a very easy - sub in your breakfast favorites - egg casserole:
Preparation:
In a large bowl, beat the eggs, milk and seasonings until well mixed. Pour over the ingredients in the slow cooker, cover and turn on low. Cook for 8-10 hours, until casserole is set and eggs are thoroughly cooked. Serves 12
If you have a new hotter cooking crockpot, you'll need to check this after 6 hours. It will probably be done after 7 hours. The eggs should reach a temperature of 160 degrees F.
