80's themed 30th birthday party ideas?
I'm new to this board, but I would like your input. 
I'm throwing myself a 30th birthday party down in Portland with a lot of my girlfriends. I'm thinking of making it 80's themed. Other than dressing up in 80's clothes, what are other ideas that are original to the 80's? I was thinking of purchasing the neon glow bracelets for everyone to wear as well.

Here's a few thoughts:
Favors: slap bracelets, razzles or other 80's candies (check Cracker Barrel for these)
Mood: really terrible 80's music videos playing (check out the vids for "You Spin Me Round" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJv5qLsLYoo and "Total Eclipse of the Heart" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=840B27zYfOk)
Activities: Maybe do some 80's karaoke or trivia? Give an award for the best 80's dance moves or best outfit... get everyone to go to a skating rink in their full 80's garb at the end of the night.
Food: work in some childhood favorites... don't feel the need to be adult with the menu at all. Think mac n' cheese, kool-aid, etc.

This is one of the best 80's parties i've see. Great ideas.
