Re: Thursday Randoms
Amen to that!
It's going great. First shower is Saturday.
I agree. Our crappy furnace hasn't been able to keep up lately.
So my poor hubby has been having horrible migraines since this weekend. He's finally going to the doctor today. I hope nothing is wrong since this is quite out of the ordinary for him.
Also, I have a suggestion...we do this on one of the bump boards I'm on...we have a post like this every morning but there is always a random QOTD to get things rolling. I thought it'd be fun to do along with our randoms post every morning.
I remember doing this a while ago. It just kind of....stopped. If I remember, I'll try to find something to post.
Bet that you are excited. Did you atleast get your crib yet?
I am excited, it should be really fun. We've had our crib for a while now. I bought the crib and changing table from a friend of mine. They both still look brand new!
Yeah, Tigers used to post a QOTD. It was fun. I'd be up for doing it again.
I agree on the QOTD - Good suggestion mollie!
Did anyone attend Blues on the Mall last night - or does anyone else plan to go this summer?
It conflicts w/our softball night, but we try to get out there at least once.
We were falling asleep to Fox 17 10 o'clock news last night, and they were reporting on Blues on the Mall, and they happened to talk to Andy's Aunt (who was there w/Andy's uncle and cousin) watching the show. It's always funny to see someone you know on TV when you're not expecting it.
We got ours last night - we're with a new CSA that's just down the road from us this year. Not much yet - some kale, lettuce and herbs mainly. I realized I was an adult when I started getting excited for fresh produce. :-P
awesome
Woot woot! I know the terrifying feeling... when we went to Hawaii the first time we bought our tickets 8 months out (but the price was right).
New Zealand sounds so amazing. I will look forward to your pictures.
when are you going?
Yup - it's scary but since the price was considerably cheaper, I felt like I had to do it.
Charity - We are going at the end of Dec/beginning of January.
Now to get planning the specifics - I actually really love planning/researching our schedule and booking our places to stay. I am so friggin' excited.
Ha... nice. I imagine he would be the life of any dance party.
When my alarm went off this morning, I was having a dream where B surprised me with a puppy. The interesting thing is that the puppy look exactly like the real life version of a dog stuffed animal that he gave me 11 years ago when we started dating. The brain does awesome things with dreams.
Good morning. Kasa, that's a great dream. Juli - yay for NZ!
We had strawberries and lettuce from our garden last night. So nice.
I was up late last night writing a paper for class. Tired.
I did an interview on their new talk show The One Seven. My SIL babysat the girls so she put the show on so they could see me. Of course I wasn't on need until the end. When I got home, they were SOOOOO excited. They ran up to me telling me they saw me on TV. Then the next day, Allison told her dad (while holding the remote) that if you "hit One Seven, mom is on." ha ha. They must think that is my station.
Bahahaha. Awesome.
Our ac broke yesterday and we are on the 3rd floor too.
I'm often excluded from "Free lunch" emails and stuff at work. I don't necessarily think it's on purpose, but it still bothers me. My boss just said to me "Hey, I'm going over to the other building to grab lunch". Me with puzzled look: "Um, ok". Boss: "Lunch from so and so" (like didn't you know?). Me: "Oh, I wasn't invited". Boss: "Oh, Well I'm sure you're welcome to get some lunch too".
Another example: Everyone had popsicles yesterday in the office. I wasn't told about it until someone saw me walking through the hallway and said "Oh by the way, we all just has popsicles. Do you want one?"
I feel like a loser.
That seems so strange to me! You're not a loser, someone else is dropping the ball. That would bother me a bit too - feeling left out is a sucky feeling.
