Broken LCD screen on laptop?
Apparently DD broke the laptop screen last night. She pulled it and it cracked? I wasn't there, but it's toast. We bought it online at Staples and don't have one w/in 100 miles of us. What should I do?
Re: Broken LCD screen on laptop?
Are you or someone you know handy?
When we cracked a laptop screen, DH found instructions online for our model, and we bought a new one on eBay. Good as new!
(Unless it's still under warranty or something...obviously, this would violate that.)
I agree with above. If you are out of warranty, buy a screen online and fit it using the manufacturers models or have a techy person you know do it...every family has one!
If not, buy a cheap external monitor and hook it up to that. no longer mobile, but usable.
L-R: Liam(5), Eimhin(3) and Fionn(1)!
Liam - Sounds like "Leem" The Irish form of William. William means "Will, Desire" and " Helmet, Protection"
Eimhin - Sounds like "Heaven". From the Irish word Eimh, "Swift, Ready". This name is particularly associated with St. Evin, a bishop who gave his name to the monastery he founded at Monasterevan in Ireland. It is also anglicized as Evan.
Fionn! Another name to confuse you Americans!! It is pronounced f-yun...like fun with a y in it. Fionn was a mythical hunter-warrior of Irish mythology.
