I have a Dr.'s appt. today and I want to talk to her more about trying for a VBAC. I have a few random questions I want to ask her, but can you think of anything important that I should bring up with her?
I remember you saying that you also have a date in the O.R. scheduled. Did you ask to have that scheduled just in case, or did the Dr. suggest it? How far after your due date is that scheduled?

I just asked her if she thought I had a chance at a vbac and kind of how things would go. She said that she wont induce me and I'd have to go into labor on my own. She said I had a 50% chance. All drs are different so i'd just ask based on your situation with Emma if she thought you had a good chance, and if you have to go into labor on your own or if they will help you along.
They did schedule a date for an OR, but I think that is more beaumonts policy, I'm not sure what hospital you'd deliver at. They scheduled it without really asking me for one day before my due date because my dd is a sat. It is more to just reserve time in the OR because they book up fast. But I look at it as, if I do need a csection, emergency or if I were to labor on my own and end up with one anyway theyd make time. I do have the ability to change it and push it back to 41 weeks, which is as far as shed "let" me go overdue.
