How did your LO handle your return to work?
I'm trying to gauge Lucy's response so far...
Re: Working Mommas
We finally found a bottle she'll accept, and towards the end of the first week she was eating normally (six ounces); but this week she's only eaten two to four ounces over eight hours.
I don't know if she's just not comfortable with my dad yet, or if something else is wrong. Casey gets home before I do, and she'll eat five or six ounces from the bottle for him. And she's breastfeeding just fine when I'm home. But I worry that she'll get dehydrated during those eight hours...
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
Maybe your dad can practice feeding her while Caseys there. it may not work but just having him there might make her more relaxed. Also have you tried leaving a shirt of yours? Wear a shirt overnight then leave it for Lucy to hold while she's being fed. Might be worth a try!

Awe- I'm sorry. Is there a temperature difference in the house? I know that as it's gotten warmer, E doesn't eat as much peak of the day, but she gulps it down in the morning and in the evening. My mom was watching her this week and there were a few days that she only took about 6 oz over a 10 hour period (eating before I left, and once I got home) but then in the evening, she'd take down 2-3 6oz bottles and same for her morning bottle.
I hope you guys find a routine soon (or that you win the lottery so you can stay home )
Have you read about reverse cycling? Kellymom has some info on this.

@KT05, I?ve heard the clothing trick before, I just keep forgetting to bring it with me in the mornings when I drop her. Darn it!!! LOL
@Jenn, my parents house is MUCH warmer than ours! I never thought about the difference in temperature?I?ll have to talk to my parents about lowering the temp. It is just so crazy expensive for them to cool their house b/c of the size. We?re really working on this SAHM thing. I would live in a cardboard box if it meant staying home with her.
@Kim!!! Thank you so SO much for that link! That finally gave me some peace of mind. It is really nice to know that Lucy isn?t the only baby in the world with this behavior. She seems to fit the profile of reverse cycling. I?m trying not to worry. Her weight isn?t any jeopardy; I?m just worried about dehydration. I told my dad to call me if he ever thought she were dehydrated and I?d be right home.
Thanks for all the help girls! You?re the best!!!
