Holy SMOKES he is driving me insane.
So, we're in the market for a home. We are looking to move from Brooklyn (back home, for me anyway) to Staten Island. Easy, right?
NOOOO. Not for us. Why? My husband, who is such an easy going guy with rarely any demands is now a House Diva. He has a set budget, the home HAS to have a fireplace, a large backyard WITH a freaking pool in it already, a finished basement and "stairs for the kids to run down at Christmas". WHAT?!!!
Now, we saw an AMAZING raised ranch, 4 bedrooms - in our price range, a huge backyard and pool, jacuzzi..- and he passed on it because he wants stairs in the house. Driving me insane.
AND, we have a friend who is a realtor emailing me homes to look at, and he calls me FROM work for me to describe the home to him: lot size, fireplace? pool? backyard? square footage? "Well, what the hell does it look like, Alisha?!!"
He's losing his mind, and he's going to get injured very shortly. LOLOL
I think with the baby being on her way so soon, he's really losing his mind and acting like a total mental case. Good god. Help me.
Re: If I bludgeon my husband, will you visit me in prison? LOL
Oh no!! I'm so sorry... Looking for a house is really stressful.
I'm sure you'll find your dream house!

Ugh! Maybe we can share a cell! We are back in the market for a new house as well and H is driving me nuts. He doesn?t want to spend too much money, but he doesn?t like anything we look at? there is always something wrong. So annoying!
ooh man! Isn't house hunting fun? LOL
We already purchased and sold our first home...NOT fun at all! We've been looking online for our next home (in NJ) and this is just as NOT fun as the first one...ugh! =/ But being we are "seasoned" in the house buying game, we are much more pickier this time around than the 1st time...especially, because we took a loss on the 1st house. =/ You live and learn...good luck!
Im all late in responding to you all, sorry!
I agree that it *is* very important that he's happy too, however - turning a house down because it doesnt have a jacuzzi tub is riduculous - ESPECIALLY when you can just have one installed, and he's incredibly handy. He does all kinds of work - painting/sheetrocking and all related stuff (of course), but then all the construction aspects on a house too (EXCEPT electric work) - and he's worried about a jacuzzi. LMAO!!
*Sidenote: he wants the jacuzzi tub for ME - not even himself. AND, Im not even the one looking for a jacuzzi tub, see my point? He's all Fancy Nancy. LOL
We've seen a couple of houses so far, and are going back out to look at some more..I have to try to remember that he's just looking to spoil me rotten, even though I'm a pretty simple girl.I could have it worse, right? LOL
