Do any of you have issues with your iPhone overheating or not functioning well in hot weather?
I own an HTC Incredible and plan to upgrade to the iPhone when my plan lets me. The Incredible tends to have problems with overheating (I know I'm not alone with my phone problems because the Incredible forums talk about this issue), and my phone recently died because I dared to use it outdoors in the hot weather and it kept overheating, eventually causing it to flake out and cease functioning properly.
I was just curious if this was also an issue for the iPhone.

Dh had an iPhone 4 that did this, the alert came up that it was overheating. He brought it back to Apple and they immediately gave him a new one.
Otherwise all of our iPhones have been fine and have never had an issue.
Thanks for all the responses.
I ended up using a family member's (unwanted) upgrade to get my iPhone. I still have 9 months until I'm eligible for an upgrade on my own plan, so I feel pretty lucky that I could make this happen given that my Incredible bought the farm.
FWIW, I am not on a family plan with this particular family member but I was still able to use her upgrade. I was shocked it worked, but Verizon Wireless was totally cool with it.
