Good morning ladies!
I have missed you guys for the past few weeks. This new job has been keeping me pretty busy.
No real plans for me this weekend but I look forward to catching up on my sleep.

Re: TGIF!
Nice to have you stop by and say hello.
Lastnight I got my hair chopped. Can I just be childish right now and say, OMG I love it. It is so much lighter. I had about 8 inches taken off! Ahh the little things that make me happy.
Tonight: DH and I have sitter for a few hours so we are going to dinner & beers with some friends.
Tomorrow: Have to go to an old friends funeral in the morning, and then hopefully start creating the boys birthday party invitations. I can't believe they are going to be 1.
Sunday: Possibly going to the Old Port Festival for some great entertainment.
Have a great weekend ladies!
I am so looking forward to this weekend. Tonight we're heading out to Oshawa to help Tim get the prep done for pouring a concrete pathway, then back home tonight.
Tomorrow we're going on a wine tour in Niagara-on-the-Lake, on BIKES! That's right, drinking wine and riding bikes at the same time. We're going with my brother, step sister and her bf and one of my step brothers, and then staying the night in Niagara Falls. So.excited.
Sunday = ?? yard work and house work and grocery shopping most likely!
Also, giant AW right here, but as of this morning I've lost 8.2 lbs in the last 4 weeks. WAHOO! Take that fat!
kats, PICTURES!!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Tonight, the H and I are going to Gordon Biersch--trying to keep our minds off a certain HR department that's dragging its feet. I'm making myself get back into current job mode. I'm really feeling this is hopeless now.
Tomorrow is shoe-shopping day for the H; we didn't go last week because of last-minute stuff, but he's determined to go this weekend. The rest of the weekend will be the usual--errands, gym, etc.
Raynes, congrats on the weight loss! Can you tell us a little more about Leigh Peele? I went to her site and honestly didn't know where to start.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
raynes - great job on the weight loss!
So happy it's Friday and looking forward to a quiet weekend. Staying in tonight for season finales of Criminal Minds and the Mentalist (yes, I know we're a little behind the times over here). We might go to a movie tomorrow, thinking about Hangover II - anybody seen it?
We also have tickets to see a tennis final on Sunday, one of the warmup tournaments for Wimbledon. It's in a small venue, and it has a great feel to it. Fingers crossed that the weather holds out and that Nadal and Murray both make it to the final!

First Raynes I read your earlier post way to go lady!!
Kats: Let's see a PIP!
Today is a a big day. In order to acquire more money for the adoption we're selling the van, and getting a different car. Not sure which one yet, but we'll be walking away with between 5 and 8K. We're also signing up with an adoption consultant today so hopefully we'll be matched soon.
And lastly I lost 4lbs this week, and I love Zumba which is awesome.
I can feel myself totally losing control. I'm still exhausted from last week, combined with just feeling all over stabby towards everyone. I'm trying to keep my mouth shut today so I don't say anything I'll regret. I think a good game night is in order for tonight to try and blow off some steam. Our friends have a new puppy, so the fluffiness should be quite soothing.
Last night we got nailed with another crazy storm, and I was stuck driving in it again. I have the worst timing apparently. Lots of power outages and downed trees. Thankfully, ours are still intact. I keep telling DH that it's a good sign, so we should stop trying to think about cutting more down. They've proved their worth at this point, right?
I'm so ready for the weekend.
Raynes - that's amazing! Definitely tell us more!
I'm SO bummed. My principal is gone today so I won't know about the job before the weekend starts. Bah.
Anyway, I've got a weekend of frantic marking ahead of me... but as of Monday, I should be good to go for the rest of the school year!

@ Kat - I can't believe the boys are almost one. Where does the time go?
@ raynes - Way to go!
@ MO - Way to go to you too and yay for leaving the car place with cash in hand.
I don't have any plans for this weekend. All I want to do is nap and work on crafts. I have the normal errands and house work to do, but really, that's all I want to do.

kaesha - still keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Happy Friday! Tonight V wants to use a groupon we got for a tapas bar that also has a flamenco show. We don't have any big plans for the weekend so I guess it will be running lots of errands. Sunday is Pentecost and my church has a big party every year which is always fun. Hope the weather holds up!

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
raynes & MO, congrats and great work!
Tonight I'm either going to happy hour with a friend or going home and relaxing. Either option sounds great to me at this point. Tomorrow morning we have the farmer's market. It's the first one that I've been able to attend in several weeks so I'm pretty excited for it. Otherwise we have no major weekend plans and I'm pumped. I haven't had a day without any plans in a long time (and my house is definitely showing it). So I'll probably spend Sunday cleaning and relaxing
Raynes and MO - awesome job on the weight loss!
Kat - I can't believe the boys are almost one!
Happy Friday! Today we have office pictures, so of course I wake up with a honkin big zit and frizzy hair! This afternoon my sister and my nephews are coming over. We're going to get a baby pool for the boys to play in and my sister and I are going to enjoy some time in the sunshine!
Tomorrow I have another parade for my bosses DA campaign. Sunday will be yard work, grocery shopping and laundry.
Raynes & MO - Awesome!
This weekend is jam packed and I really wish it wasn't. Tonight is dinner with some shoestring relatives that are in town. Thankfully it's at a great restaurant. Tomorrow is cleaning the house and a soccer game tomorrow night (I'm going to try and meet baby Edmund!) and Sunday there is a GTG for my local board and as much as I should stay and clean, DH is encouraging me to go meet these ladies.
All the cleaning is for the painter, they start on the interior first thing Tuesday morning!
I just got back a while ago from my nephew's JK graduation. We went out to eat afterwards and had a calzone and almost ate the whole thing. Yum!
Tomorrow we have a baby shower for a friend and then at night I'm racing a 10K. I've actually never raced 10K so it should be an interesting experience.
Sunday I picked a shift up at the drug store so I'll be working.
