I have some swimsuits from Target, Old Navy, and Victoria's Secret which are great for lounging at the beach and whatnot.
But I need a new "active" swimsuit that I can wear for kayaking, snorkeling, etc. Basically, I want one that has more bottom coverage and a bottom that stays where it's supposed to. So I think I need a more athletic type suit (bottoms, anyway... I'm not worried about the top).
Where can I find a better quality suit at a reasonable price? I've been eyeing the swimsuits on Athleta where they're said to be made for more active/sport uses. But I'm having a hard time swallowing the prices.
Any other ideas?
Re: Good quality swimsuits
Have you checked out MC Sports or D*ck's?
These are only $40 from D*cks:

I've had great luck with Zappos.com
If you go to their website you can search for: swimsuits-> athletic-> lowest price and find some really good deals. Or you can search by brand names that you know are higher quality.
I know it's hard to buy a swimsuit online, though. Zappos does have awesome customer service and return policy. Good luck!
I just got my new bathing suit at TJ Maxx as well. I almost never go in there, but I found just the right thing...something I'd never been able to find when I was looking. At least not with a price tag I was willing to even consider.
Eddie Bauer is having a big sale right now, so that might be one other place to look. You could see how things tend to fit in the store, but buy online if there's a clearance one you like the price of. Otherwise Lands End makes good suits.
